Q2 2024 Android Pirate Game Trends in the US

In the second quarter of 2024, the pirate-themed gaming category on Android has seen varying levels of user engagement and download trends. Sensor Tower provides a closer look at the performance of the top five pirate games during this period.

Sea of Conquest: Pirate War, published by FunPlus International AG, displayed a consistent trend in weekly active users, growing from 14K to over 15K by the end of the quarter. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 837K in the second week of April, while revenue showed a downward trend, starting at $2.58M and closing at $1.25M in the final week of June.

TAPCLAP's Pirate Treasures: Jewel & Gems showed a modest revenue trend, with figures ranging from $29K to $52K, while downloads saw a decline from 385K to 219K. Weekly active users experienced dips and rises, ending slightly lower than the quarter's starting point.

BELKA GAMES' Roger That: Merge Adventure! had a challenging quarter with no downloads recorded in several weeks and revenue hitting zero multiple times. However, weekly active users increased from 316 to a peak of 568 before settling at 278 by the end of June.

The game Pirate Ships・Build and Fight by HeroCraft Ltd. did not record significant revenue, peaking at $64K in the third week of May. Downloads showed some volatility, with a peak of 124K in April. Weekly active users saw an overall decline from 487 to 481 by the quarter's end.

Lastly, Pirate Raid - Caribbean Battle from SayGames Ltd had no revenue reported for most of the quarter. Downloads hit a high of 464K in the last week of May, while weekly active users grew from 578 to a high of 681 before decreasing to 404.
